In June 1937, the Gulyas Sisters embarked on a trip from South Norwalk in Connecticut to visit their hometown of Sajókazi in Hungary for the summer. Their trip took them via boat to Hamburg in Nazi Germany and then by train through Germany, Chechoslovakia to Hungary.
